January 6: Back to School January 6: Comedysportz Rehearsal 5:30-7:00 in the BBT. January 8-10: Flying by Foy training for Cast and Fly crew January 12-23: “Wizard of Oz” Tickets on Sale during all lunches January 21: Brat Mat performance in the PAC January 21: “Buy Out” performance, 2:00 PM. January 22-24: Wizard of Oz performances at 7:00 PM January 24: Wizard of Oz matinee performance at 2:00 PM January 26-27: UIL One Act Play AUDITIONS for (scenes from) “The Last Night of Ballyhoo” , 3:30-5:30 PM in the PAC. |

December 1: Theatre Boosters meet in the Theatre Room, 7:00 PM December 2: Gala Dinner Reservations are due. December 2: Orchestra Concert in the PAC at 7:00 PM December 5: Show Shirt orders are due - $15. Per shirt December 5: Set up Commons for Gala, 4:00-8:00 PM December 6: Fine Arts Gala, 6:00 PM in the MRHS Commons. $15. Per person for dinner/$10. Per person for Silent Auction only December 8: Choir Concert in the PAC at 7:00 PM December 9: Band Concert in the PAC at 7:00 PM December 13: "Wizard of Oz" Family Fun Run, leave your ruby slippers at home for this one, and bring your tennis shoes instead. T-Shirts to all registrants, with prizes & tickets to the musical awarded to top finishers. 10am at Franz Elementary. Registration Form Dec. 16-19: Final Exams December 20: The Wizard of Oz cast will be at Books A Million on Saturday, Dec. 20, from 11:00-2:00 PM. Tickets to the musical will be on sale and the cast will perform some numbers from the show!

November 3: Booster Meeting 7:00, room 1134, Operating Code approval, and Gala!! November 3: Musical ALL COMPANY meeting in the BBT at 3:30! November 3: Lock in fee ($15.00) due to Ms. Wilson November 4: ELECTION DAY! November 5: First Wednesday Fundraiser at Cici's Fry Rd, 4-9pm November 6: ComedySportz match in the Black Box Theatre, at 7:00 PM. Admission is $5.00/person. November 7-8: LOCK IN for Cast, Crew, Orchestra, Dancers in the theatre area, 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM. Prizes, food, games & movies! November 7: Head Shot money due ($7.00). November 10: Head Shots by Country Park Portraits, 3:00-4:30. Pictures must be taken during this time only in order to have the picture in the program for the musical! November 13: Faculty vs. Students ComedySportz match in the BBT at 7:00 PM. Admission is $5 / person. November 14: Final Thespian Convention payments due. November 19-22: Tex. Thespian Convention in Fort Worth. November 25: All Gala Basket Items are due. November 30: Sunday, 6pm - Parents put all basket items together for the Gala. Meet at the Smith's home.

October 13: Music/Singing Auditions for “Wizard of Oz” in the PAC, 3:30-5:30 PM. October 14: Acting and Munchkin auditions for ‘Wizard’ in the PAC, 3:30-5:30 October 15: Dance/Movement Auditions for ‘Wizard’ in the PAC, 3:30-5:30 October 16-17: Callbacks October 20: Rehearsals begin for “Wizard of Oz” (Rehearsal calendars should be adhered to by all cast and crew members) October 21: ComedySportz practice 5:30-7:00, Final Payment is due. October 24: Fundraiser kick off begins for all Theatre students. |

Thespians man the booth and promote the theatre program, 11:00-1:00 August 18-21: Maverick Nights, 5:00-7:00 PM. August 22: Thespian “Blitz Day” 10:00AM – 1:00 PM. August 25: School Begins August 26: Thespian Officers meet after school August 28-29: Auditions for “Arsenic and Old Lace” 3:30-5:30 in the Black Box Theatre. (Scripts available for perusal in the theatre room throughout the week.)

May 10: Theatre Banquet in the Black Box Theatre at 6:00 May 14: Comedysportz team rehearsal at 5:30. May 15: Evening of Scenes performances in the Black Box Theatre at 7:00 PM. No admission charge. May 20: Comedysportz team rehearsal at 5:30 May 22: Comedysportz Tournament in the MRHS PAC at 7:00 PM. Admission $5.00 per person May 27-30: Final Exams June 1: Graduation at the LMC.
